Itaewon, Seoul: Sodom und Gomorra

ich sag’s euch… pfui! seoul bzw. (ich hab nicht alles gesehen deswegen) nur: Itaewon ist definitiv einfach ein dreckiges, verdorbenes japan mit amerikanischem schmuddel und grusel einfluss… als ich von meinen freunden hier in japan gefragt worden bin wie es war konnte ich nur 2 worte finden: „filthy japan“

also warum filthy japan.. 

in der vergangenheit: もみじピックニック

mit ganz lieben menschen nordoestlich von 修学院 (shuugakuin) ziemlich weit oben auf nem berg… picknick unter den roten blaettern von kyoto wunderschoen und erholsam  

war noch richtig warm, wenn jedoch die sonne von einer wolke verdeckt war war es schon ganz schoen kalt. leider ist auch die sonne schon frueh untergegangen.

大阪城, Osaka-Castle

hey folks!

time to report on my last trip to osaka.. the intended target: osaka-jo

the castle was unfortunately destroyed several times and was rebuilt the last time after the second world war, since us air force flattened all of osaka. seriously flattened: … if you go by chikatetsu (subway) you still pass places named after hills or heights like taka 高, but basically osaka is flat. you can now imagine how intense the bombing in the second world war was. i guess the us did not just test bombs in hiroshima and nagasaki but also some new sort in osaka. anyway.. more pictures after the jump

祇園祭、gion matsuri

私はきのうともだちとでんしゃで京都にいきました。祇園祭をみました。おもしろいでした。

fuer alle, die es nicht verstanden haben oder nicht lesen koennen, wegen den vielen fragezeichen.. gestern war ich mit einer freundin (namiko) auf dem gion matsuri (gion fest) eine parade anschaun. sehr interessant! kann ich nur empfehlen… hier ein paar schnappschuesse: gion matsuri

sorry for being such a lazy bastard the last few days.. but basically i didn’t do much anyway. except for yesterday.. i went to the german stammtisch again. and met a few other germans. it seems that i cannot get rid of these folks ah.. just kidding. i like you anyway!

additionally things are getting more and more difficult and deadlines are approaching.. difficulties are mainly caused due to hardware failures.. my little white computer gave up, but, call me MACguyver, repaired it! with a piece of rubber! AWESOME

this weekend i will be going to nagoya as said. so i may not be able to keep you up to date! but blog entries will follow.

Hikingu: Kurama and Kibune edition

hey guys.. 

so i spent a pretty relaxed weekend after 4th of july took all my remaining energy from me. on sunday with about 35 degrees outside i still could wield myself out of bed and into the train towards kyoto and further… past kyoto through north towards the outbacks to the mountains. well yes my fellow austrians.. its not mountains… its hills. but you should try climbing pfänder with 35 degrees outside and a humidity close to the amazonas. after about 2 hours in sweet sweet air conditioned trains i stepped out into the heat in kurama. very beautiful.. the red nosed fellow in the beginning of the post was the first thing to notice. the immediate thought that came to my mind seeing that thing was: „e, gaijin desu!“
